Montréal and the surrounding regions are incredibly rich in flavors and tasty discoveries. The originality you will observe in art or architecture can also be found in your plate, certainly an influence of our multicultural, generous and open-minded society.
My specialty, within my trade, is the history of food and agriculture in Quebec. It is amazing how our grandmothers fed such large families and how our grandfathers worked the land.
Let me share with you to my best findings, introduce you to our culinary heritage, our most original products, and the classics flavors of Montréal and its surroundings.

Old Montreal and botanical garden, the roots of our society!
Nature and history comes together in this lovely relaxing day tour.
6 hours, 1 to 5 guests
As an urban farmer, initiated forager, farm-to-table militant and all-together nature lover, I decided to craft a tour with two of my favorite subjects: history, food and nature.
In the morning, I would love to show you our historic district, Old Montreal. For lunch, a quick bite at a local cafe will be quick and tasty, and will have us ready for our magestic Botanical garden, recognized as one of the world’s greatest of it’s kind. With its collection of 22 000 plant species, 10 greenhouses, and more than 20 thematic gardens, it’s also a perfect place to connect with the morning’s history portion and share stories about the relationship between the Amerindians, French settlers, British conquerors and modern Montrealers have with mother nature.
